Waternish Wildlife Alliance Petition
The Waternish Wildlife Alliance would be exceedingly grateful if you would consider signing and sharing the following petition, asking SSEN to use the alternative cable routes to protect our maerl bed. It was so very kind of so many of you to email objections in January. We now need SSEN to see there is still that level of support for the protection of Ardmore Bay and its precious maerl. Maerl is officially categorised as a threatened and declining habitat, so we are unbelievably lucky to have a 6-hectare bed on our door step that we can help look after!
