Following the survey earlier this year about a potential new hall project, the Waternish Hall Committee is proceeding with plans to create the right governing body to be able to access funding should the project become a reality.

While we were reviewing the Hall constitution, we realised that we have no registered members of the Hall other than the current officers of the Committee. Members are people who live in Waternish and so can, if they wish, attend Hall member meetings. Being a member does not obligate anyone to do anything at all, but it is good practice and in accordance with our Hall written constitution, to have a register of members.

In theory, all residents of Waternish are members, so we’re now asking if you would register your name by completing the form by following this link:

We appreciate that this may seem unnecessary as we already have a very active and involved community, but it helps funders to see evidence of engaged communities, including a healthy membership register. Once again we are asking for as much support as possible.
