This Saturday! **Coffee, cakes, board games and Bingo Fundraiser!**
There is an after hours Cafe opening event coming up on Sat 5th Sep 4.30-6.30pm @DCF Community Cafe, Dunvegan.
All of the usual Barista drinks will be available with home baking, board games and Bingo too! (All activities are non compulsory!) Come along for some fun or just for coffee and a chat!
We will be taking cash donations for this event which will go directly towards projects happening on the ground in Nepal including feeding and medical care.
We hope to see you there!

Starting This Weekend! Feldenkrais Classes
With this unique opportunity of a series of six sessions Uwe will explore movement which will provide you with tools and insights to develop a deeper awareness of your body and allow for improved posture, reduced pain and give you enhanced well being to move through life more easily. All classes are suitable for any level of fitness or movement.
Caroline Dear - 'I found Feldenkrais has really helped me with severe sacro-iliac pain and I have become more aware of my movementsand body since doing these classes regularly online'.
Helen Scott-Danter - 'Through Feldenkrais I feel connections throughout my body and have found an ease of moving and being which connects with my shiatsu massage practice'.
You will need comfortable clothing and a yoga mat. Classes areadaptable but most are conducted lying on the floor. The movements are slow and gentle to increase your own awareness of your body.

A note from DCF community church
A note from DCF Community Church regarding the planned power cuts on 9th Sept
DCF unit 2, Lochside, Dunvegan, next to the café, will be open for anyone who would like to spend the duration of the power cut, in a warm building with access to hot drinks & company. Bring your own packed lunch. We will open the building from 0930-1600, or till whenever the power comes back on.

SEAL Festival of Small Halls 2026
The lineup for the SEALL Festival of Small Halls 2026 has been confirmed. It includes the eight artists as shown in the poster above. They'll be touring about Skye, Raasay and Lochalsh this November, coming to a hall near you.
The festival is a completely unique musical experience. The artists are starting the process of sharing music and ideas to prepare for what is an entirely one-off set of performances.
All eight will play the opening and closing of the festival at Dunvegan Community Hall and Sligachan Hotel respectively. For the rest of the run, they'll be split into two groups of four. They'll also be doing workshops, playing informal sessions and performing in care homes throughout the run.

Macmillan Coffee Day at the Yurt - Skyeskyns
The Yurt team are warmly inviting you to their Macmillan Coffee Day on
