Waternish Hall Christmas Raffle 2024
Ticket sales for the Waternish Hall Christmas Raffle are now closed, and the raffle team are frantically preparing for the draw at midday on Saturday. Final ticket sales are not yet available, but all all the signs are pointing to another record-breaking year for the raffle. Ticket sales look like they will surpass those of last year, and we already know that we have approximately 120 fantastic prizes to give away in the draw - you can see a list of these on the Raffle Page of the Hall website.
The only thing left for everyone to do is to head to the Raffle Page on Saturday at midday, and enjoy watching the raffle draw as it happens, live from Judi’s kitchen! If you can’t manage that, then a recorded video of the whole draw will be posted in the same location by the end of the weekend. A list of prize winning tickets will also be posted on the website as soon as possible after the event.
Thanks to everybody for your fantastic support, and good luck in the draw to all those who have bought tickets.

Thank You from Donnie's Tablet Shed
A huge thank you to everyone who visited the "Big Tablet Shed" at the house during November and December and to all who visited during our Waternish festive pop up weekends.
It was so lovely to see everyone, with lots of great chats.
As always we have donated a portion of all our Christmas sales to the charity Mary's Meals. I can confirm that we have sent them £500 this year, which will be matched by government funding to make £1000. This will feed 52 children at school for the next year.
Many thanks for all your purchases and helping to make this happen.
The tablet shed will be now closed until mid January when I will start making tablet again.
Merry Christmas
Donnie and Raymond

Waternish Hall Christmas Raffle 2024
HAVE YOU BOUGHT YOUR TICKETS YET?
RAFFLE DRAW TO TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 21st AT MIDDAY
RAFFLE DRAW TO TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 21st AT MIDDAY
Roughly a week (or less) to go before the raffle draw takes place, and tickets are selling well - so don't leave it too late to get yours!
Tickets are available in person at the following local outlets:
- Dunvegan Post Office (cash sales only);
- Judi's house in Halistra on Waternish (cash sales only);
- Frank's house in Stein on Waternish (cash sales only).
If you use online banking, then you may purchase tickets from the comfort of your own home - just send an email with your name and contact number to: raffle@waternishhall.com , and put 'Raffle Tickets' in the subject field.
The total number of prizes we are giving away this year is increasing day by day - at present the number has just topped 100 - so many thanks to all those companies and individuals who have already generously donated. An up-to-date list is available on the raffle page of our website, but a brief summary includes the following items:
- a fleece from Skyeskyns;
- a freshly made pizza meal for 4, delivered to your own home (click here for details);
- a lunch for two at the Stein Inn;
- a crate of beer donated by the Isle of Skye Brewery, plus another gift box of ales;
- a bottle of whisky donated by Talisker;
- many more items, including bottles of wine, confectionery, jewellery and household goods;
Finally, as many of you know, as a small charity the Hall faces a constant challenge to raise funds to finance its running costs. It's only through the generosity of local businesses and individuals who support our fund raising activities, such as the Christmas Raflle, that we are able to keep the Hall open. Last year's raffle was the most successful in the short history of the event, so let's hope that, with your support, this year's will be equally, if not more, successful.

Looking forward to seeing you all there
